ESLSCA University graduate May Al-Amir wins prestigious BGA Student of the Year Award 2024 in the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards

May Al-Amir, a graduate from the ESLSCA University, has won the coveted BGA Student of the Year Award 2024.

The AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2024 were held on January 19, 2024 at the exceptional Park Plaza London Riverbank. The Awards brought together leading lights from the global business education community to celebrate excellence and commend achievement among business schools, MBA students and graduates, suppliers and employers.

The ceremony was attended by more than 200 business school leaders, as well as category finalists, judges and members of the media.

The BGA Student of the Year Award recognises students who have shown exceptional career potential and who BGA believes can act as ambassadors for the global business school community.

This award doesn’t just recognise ‘straight-A’ students but also focuses on leadership potential and career progression for students of any business education degree programme. Shortlisted students therefore represent a wide range of different personal and professional backgrounds.

Her academic excellence, effective communication, and problem-solving skills set her apart as a true leader and contributor to her peers and the university community.

Through her initiatives, like introducing python courses and addressing major selection concerns, she positively impacts the educational experience for all. Moreover, her active participation in the Do-Nations club showcases her commitment to making a difference beyond academics.
