Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) scooped the coveted Best Innovation Strategy Award – in association with QED, at the globally-renowned Association of MBA’s (AMBA) and Business Graduates Association (BGA) Excellence Awards 2025 for BOTSBI - BSBI's revolutionary innovation.
The AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2025, held on January 24, 2025 at the Royal Garden Hotel in London, brought together leading lights from the global business education community to celebrate excellence and commend achievement among business schools, MBA students and graduates, suppliers and employers.
The ceremony was attended by more than 200 business school leaders, as well as category finalists, judges and members of the media.
The Best Innovation Strategy Award honours a school’s achievement in pushing boundaries in terms of creativity in practice. This prestigious award is a celebration of innovation and radical thinking in business education delivery across all areas of a business school’s operations and has been developed to recognise and reward game-changing new practices, risks and creativity. It promotes the values of taking risks in pursuit of the new in different areas, including teaching, learning, recruitment and alumni relations.
BSBI's revolutionary innovation, BOTSBI, epitomises the institution’s commitment to cutting-edge education. Powered by advanced Python programming and UNIX-based systems, BOTSBI enhances learning with scientific presentations and educational demonstrations. Its natural movements and advanced natural language processing capabilities engage students, transforming traditional teaching.
BOTSBI's multifaceted functionality includes serving as an artificial conversational agent, enriching the learning experience through interactive dialogue. This hands-on engagement in robotics, programming, and AI aligns with BSBI's didactic model, integrating lecture presentations, interactive exercises, and group work.
"This award recognises BSBI's pioneering role in educational innovation through BOTSBI. By seamlessly integrating AI and robotics into our academic experience, we're not just teaching technology - we're transforming how students learn and prepare for tomorrow's challenges. This achievement reflects our commitment to pushing educational boundaries and developing future-ready graduates who can thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy," says Professor Dr Kyriakos Kouveliotis, Provost and Chief Academic Officer at BSBI.
