BGA Validation
Get your business school ready for accreditation—validation offers an efficient quality assurance process tailored for business schools.
Read moreBelow, you will find a detailed breakdown of how the BGA Accreditation Process works. This process is structured into four key stages—Application, Development, Assessment, and Post-Assessment—each designed to guide schools toward achieving a BGA Accreditation.
The school begins by submitting an application for BGA Accreditation. After reviewing the application, the BGA Accreditation Director will determine whether the school is ready to proceed to the next stage, inviting them to begin the Development Stage.
During this stage, a mentor is assigned to the school, and an annual accreditation fee is paid. The school then begins developing its initial CIM framework, which is submitted for approval by the BGA Accreditation Body (BAB). Over a two-year period, the school measures key impact metrics and works on both the BGA Self-Assessment Framework (SAF) and Self-Assessment Report (SAR) alongside the CIM. Upon successful completion of the CIM, it is submitted for final approval before moving to the Assessment Stage.
Once the school has developed its SAF and SAR, it arranges an assessment date and pays the assessment visit fee. During this stage, the school finalises all necessary documentation, and the assessment visit takes place.
Following the assessment, a draft report is sent to the school for fact-checking. Once any necessary revisions are made, the final report is sent to BAB for endorsement, and the school is awarded accreditation. A final expenses invoice for the visit is also provided.
